I loved Hidden Agenda so much. It has such a wonderful story, plot and character development that I hated for it to end.Alyssa Stark is a strong woman new to New York City, trying to make it in the world of business men climbing up the corporate ladder as well as raise her young daughter. Grant Fontaine, on the other hand, is a lonely widower and recluse, only wanting to be back in the life he had before his young wife was taken from him. Years after his wife passed he finds that an old sperm specimen of his resulted in child. That child is Alyssa's daughter. Now, what is Grant to do when the dream he's wanted is so close yet so far away? You'll just have to read the story and find out. You won't be disappointed!
Larsen's idea and writing blossoms on every page, urging me to read further and further until my eyes hurt and I was forced to put my Kindle down. I could read Hidden Agenda over and over again. Thank you for the wonderful story Ms. Larsen. I hope to read more from you in the future.

Laurie Larsen is an excellent writer and I have enjoyed all of her books. This one had the hot romance, but the compelling plot and interesting character development that many mindless romance novels lack.
Hidden agenda is an original contemporary romance that will leave you asking "what if". The characters are likable and the tension is palpable. I recommend for anyone who is looking for a truly romantic page turner with some heat.
I was hooked from the first page of this book. The characters are compelling, and the story is sweet and enoyable. I finished it in just a couple days because I was so interested. If you're looking for an entertaining, romantic summer read, you won't be disappointed.
This was a really sweet little love story. It could have been a bit stalker-ish, but somehow managed to pull it off. Probably best for a US market. The story wouldn't work in many other countries.
But on the whole, very pleasant escapism.
Loved, loved, loved this. Need to stop reading your stuff. I can't put them down once I start. Just kidding.
But I do need to sleep so won't be starting another one today.

I was incredibly impressed with the way Larsen wove such an array of emotions into this beautiful contemporary romance. I yearned for the widower to move passed his fears and for the woman to accept him. The twists slid by so smoothly I felt like I was right there with the characters.
