I obtained this free e-book from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing a review.TJ was in Honduras trying to find information and justice for her fathers' murder when she witnesses the execution of a DEA agent by a drug lord Castillo and a US Senator which is all on a memory stick. Castillo is known as the butcher and he is hunting her before she can get the proof to take out their operation. Garrett is the questionable character she has hired to fly her out of Honduras but when he shows up with the helo loaded to capacity and she has six little girls she stumbled on from the massacred village she has no choice but to cram the girls in the helo and hideout in the jungle until and if Garrett can get back to pick her up.Product details

I am usually not a fan of adventure writing or masculine female characters. Everyone who's already read Imperfect Wings knows it looks, at first glance, like a huge dose of each. Let me tell you, once I reached page 42, I could not put this book down. I loved TJ and Garrett, loved their romance (so refreshingly believable), loved the decency of the Idaho brothers and the whole Idaho family, and I was totally sucked into the quasi-military adventure. In fact, I have done nothing since sometime yesterday except inhale this wonderful story. Thank you, Elizabeth Noyes. Can't wait to read Imperfect Trust, which I understand is due out soon.
From page one, Noyes pulled me into TJ's story, and I couldn't put the book down. The chemistry between her heroine and the oldest Cameron brother was electric, and the suspense kept me riveted to the page. Best of all, the story offered a clean read with an overarching, but not in-your-face, Christian worldview. Five stars!
I hope T.J. and Garrett come back in the next book of the "Imperfect" series. A hunky guy with emotional issues. A short beauty who can take down a mob of men. And a vicious drug Lord in pursuit. This is a romantic thriller that will keep you glued to the pages until the end. Fun and satisfying. Thank you, Elizabeth Notes.
WOW, talk about a real page turner suspense novel. Elizabeth Noyes has such a working knowledge of witness protection, plus how government protection works in many capacities. This is the book you read on that rainy day when you cannot leave your favorite chair! Blue Ribbon reading!
This author captures you from page one and pulls you into the story and charcacters. Great dialogue, metaphors like a bachelor at a bridal shower will make you giggle. The action will take you and like TJ, you have to reminded to breathe. Looking forward to reading the next ones in this series.
Wanting answer for her father’s death, she ends up in danger. She is tough, having soft heart for children. A man of power in Honduras, will not be stopped, and she is now in his way. She flees to a ranch will Garrett help her, she was a thorn to him two years ago. A good page turner, with a lot of action.
The characters in this book were well developed and intriguing. By the end of the first chapter I knew I was going to have trouble putting this book down. The author's descriptions were so detailed I could easily picture the locations and scenery throughout the novel. It had plenty of adventure and action with the added touch of romance which I love; the heroine was strong and independent yet had a softer more nurturing side too. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
